In the case of an emergency, or if you can smell gas, call 000 immediately.

Your distributor can provide outage details

Your distributor owns and maintains the energy network in your area and can give you information about what’s happening when there’s an outage or blackout.

To find out when your power can be restored, see your distributor's outage map or contact your distributor. If you don't know who yours is, you can check our distributor look up tool.

Some postcodes have several distributors. If you see more than one distributor listed you can confirm who yours is by looking on your bill under faults and emergencies. For quick access, you can find your bills in View my bills in My Account or the app.

Life support program

If someone at your address uses a life support machine, please register the details as soon as possible. Then, we’ll be able to give you additional protection such as providing advanced written planned interruption notification. However, we can't always predict the outages, so in case of an emergency call 000.
