Set up Centrepay

Centrepay allows automatic payments of your energy bills from your Centrelink allowance. This is deducted before your payment gets to you.

What is Centrepay and how do I set it up?

Centrepay is a voluntary and free payment option available to Centrelink customers. Use Centrepay to make regular deductions from your Centrelink payment.

You can start or change a deduction at any time. The quickest way to do it is through your Centrelink account online.

You can set up Centrepay deductions for your Origin account through your Centrelink account online. If you're unsure how to do this, take a look at this step-by-step guide.

You'll need the details below:

For your electricity or natural gas account

  • Origin Centrelink Reference Number (CRN): 555083960H

  • Name: Origin Energy Holdings Pty Ltd

  • Your 12 digit Origin payment reference number (this is the same as your BPAY® reference number, which can be found on your bill)

  • Name: Origin Energy Services Ltd.

  • Address: Level 21, 360 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne, VIC, 3000

  • Your 10 digit LPG customer number (you can find this on your bill)
