More info

You’ll get a visual safety inspection booking with your move booking

Queensland customers who book an electricity move with Origin automatically get a VSI booking at their new property.

You’ll need to be on site at the new property when the inspection occurs, so we’ll send you details of your booking, plus a reminder before it happens. You’ll get a five-hour booking window.

When you may not need a VSI booking

When power is switched off at a property, sometimes it isn’t disconnected from the main power source. This lets another energy supplier connect in easily when a customer is switches energy providers. If the power has been on within the last 30 days, you may not need a VSI.

How to cancel a VSI booking

If you know power at the property has been on within the last 30 days, it’s unlikely you’ll need your VSI booking.

Give us a call on 13 24 61 to check and we’ll cancel the booking if you don’t need it.
