Missing My Account features

Are some of your favourite features (like Move house or Solar usage) missing from My Account? It could be because of updates we’re doing.

The updates aren’t happening for all customers right away. You’ll know if you’re included because the account number on your My Account dashboard starts with an A-.

First of all, sorry if this has happened to you. We know how annoying it is when you were able to get something done online and now you can’t. However. if you need help, an awesome benefit of these updates is that we can respond to emails very quickly. Simply email hello@origin.com.au with your name and account number, as well as details of what you need to do (like move house or request a payment extension). The team will usually get back to you within a few hours to help with your request (if it’s during business hours).

Why is this happening?

As part of a big project to improve the way we serve our customers, we’re adopting ground-breaking new technology that’s very different from what we use today. It means we’re rebuilding everything from scratch to make it even better.

When will it be fixed?

The team is working really hard to bring these features back and we’re loading new updates every day, but we ask you to be patient and bear with us! We truly believe that you’ll notice a big improvement to the service you get from Origin when we’re done.

What can I do in the meantime?

You can still:

  • See your account balance and usage

  • Renew or change your plan

  • Make a payment

  • Add or edit a Direct Debit

  • View your recent payments

  • Download your latest or past billsSubmit a meter read

  • Request a refund

  • Update your personal details

Again, we understand it's frustrating that this is happening and we’re sorry to put you out.
