Centrepay amounts are deducted before your payment gets to you, so that your bill payments are already taken care of.
To set up Centrepay for your Origin account, you can:
1. Do it yourself, in your MyGov account – you don’t need any of our information to get set up and it’s by far the quickest way to get it done – almost instant. If you’re unsure how to do this in your MyGov account, take a look at this step-by-step guide.
2. Message us, we can organise Centrepay for you, but it can take 7–10 working days.
We’ll just need to know:
Your Centrelink CRN (customer reference number) – you can find this on your concession card or letters from Centrelink.
Your benefit group (job seeker, pensioner, family tax benefit etc.)
3. Call or visit your Centrelink office
For this you'll need the following information to get set up:
Origin CRN number: 555083960H
Origin trading name: Origin Energy Holdings Pty Ltd
Origin phone number: 13 24 61
Your Origin 12-digit account number – you can find this on the first page of a bill or your My Account Dashboard
Your Centrelink Customer Reference Number (CRN) – you can find this on your concession card or letters from Centrelink.
If you’d like to set up a payment plan with us too, get in touch and we'll help you out.
