You may get charged a late payment fee if you fail to pay the total amount shown on your bill by the due date – these fees are exempt from GST.

If you’re struggling to pay your bills on time, there are a few things that you can do:
Request a payment extension on your current bill, if eligible an extension can give you up to 5 weeks to pay. Just log in to My Account and Request a payment extension. You can pay your bill with a once-off payment or instalments. If you request the payment extension before your bill’s due date, you’ll be able to keep any discounts applied to your account.
Set up EasiPay – just log in to My Account and head to EasiPay payment plan. This will make it simpler for you to know how much you're going to pay, and when. We look at your current and previous usage to estimate your energy costs over the next 12 months and then even out your payments to suit the frequency you choose.

For broadband
The late payment fee for broadband is $12.
