Get your bills issued monthly
From time to time we invite customers who have eligible electricity accounts to switch to monthly billing; you may have just received an SMS inviting you to switch!
Monthly billing is only available for electricity bills if you have an eligible smart meter. For non-smart meters and natural gas accounts, use one of the payment methods below.
If you have a smart electricity meter, email us at enquiry@originenergy.com.au or get in touch to find out if you can change your billing to monthly. If you don’t know what kind of meter you have, don’t worry! We’ll be able to look it up when we get your message.
Set up an EasiPay payment plan
You can pay small amounts, more regularly with EasiPay.
1. Head to the EasiPay screen in your account
2. Choose how often you’d like to pay – monthly, fortnightly or weekly.
3. Choose a start date – we recommend you use the day after you get paid.
4. Choose one of your saved credit cards or bank accounts or add a new one.
We calculate the amounts for you based on your bill history, and it only takes a few minutes to set-up online.
Chip away with BPAY or Pre-Payments
Before your bill’s due date, you can chip away at it whenever you like by making smaller payments ahead of time. You can see your bill’s due date on your dashboard.
You can also set up regular BPAY payments if you’d prefer. You’ll need to do this through your bank. Use biller code 130 112 and put your Origin account number as the reference. You’ll have to do electricity and gas separately.
