Short answer

If you paid a bill that was also paid by direct debit, your account may be in credit.

It's easy to get a refund. See Details, below.

Request a refund

  1. Log in to My Account to view your dashboard.

  2. If your account is in credit, you'll see a credit amount and a link for requesting a refund. Click or tap the link and follow the prompts.

Important notes

  • A payment outside of direct debit can take around three business days to get to us. This could mean you don't see a refund link yet. Wait for three days and try again.

  • If your account had other amounts outstanding, the extra payment you made will go towards your existing debt.

  • If you don't see a refund link and you think you should, email us or call 13 24 61.
