Getting the power on – first, let us know where you are moving by jumping to Move or add property in My Account or the Origin app. Pick a connection date and we’ll do the rest!
While we’re setting up your new address – sit back and relax. You can check the status of your connection on your Dashboard. We’ll also keep you updated by SMS or email, just to let you know how everything’s tracking.
Disconnecting your old house – close the account at your old place by at Disconnect my property. You don’t need to be home for the disconnection but be aware that some meters can be disconnected from 7 am on the day you choose. Sometimes it’s better to book your disconnection for the day after you move out.
If you’re moving out, but your housemate is staying put, make sure you let us know before you disconnect.

Next, we’ll let you know timeframes and book in your new connection
We’ll also let you know how much relocation will cost. Here are some approximate costs:
Relocation to an nbn™ serviceable address: $165 plus any associated nbn™ fees.
Relocation to a non nbn™ serviceable address: $165 plus any associated new line connection fees.
