Here are a few easy things you can check first, if you're having trouble connecting:

  1. Turn off your Origin Home Gateway and remove any attached equipment. This will allow the connection to re-establish with the network.

  2. Check that everything has been plugged in correctly for your nbn™ connection (including all the right coloured cables into each of their corresponding coloured ports on the Origin Home Gateway).

  3. Got an nbn™ connection box installed? Do a quick check that it's switched on.

  4. Make sure you’ve waited for 20 minutes for the automated set-up and connection process to complete. The internet light will turn solid green when it has successfully connected.

  5. Are you connecting your device via Wi-Fi? Try ‘forgetting’ the device. Then turn off your modem by pressing the power button on the side. Wait for 2 minutes and power it on again.

  6. Still having trouble connecting? Please contact us on 1300 508 830.
