Before you start - check your service is active

We’ll send you an email or SMS to confirm. Don’t worry about setting up before then.

Get set up on eero

  1. Download the free eero app for iOS or Android

  2. Create an eero account or log in with your existing Amazon account.

You need to create an eero account or Amazon account before you can start using your eero router. Once your account is created and you’re logged in, tap “get started” in the eero app.

Setting up your eero router

  1. Unplug your old modem from the power outlet and remove the cable connecting it to your nbn® connection box

  2. Connect your eero device to your nbn connection box using the ethernet cable that came in the box. You would have received an email from us on which UNI-D port to use

  3. Check that your nbn connection box and your eero are on and plugged in correctly. The eero's LED light will flash white as it powers up and connects.

Create your eero network

  1. Open your eero app and follow the prompts. The eero app will begin to look for your new eero device and your eero’s LED light will begin to flash blue then turn solid blue when found

  2. Once your eero has been successfully detected, select a location for your eero on the app

  3. Enter your network name (SSID) and network password. This is how devices will join your network

  4. You can finish set up or, if you have additional eero devices, tap “Add Another eero Device” and follow the steps in the app.
