Short answer
If your bill is due soon or is overdue by less than two weeks, you might be eligible to self-serve your payment extension. Here's how to go about it.

Log in to My Account or the Origin app
If you have a due bill, or your bill is overdue by less than two weeks, you'll see a "Need payment assistance?" option in the Actions and updates section on your dashboard. Alternatively you can find it in the Billing section. Click on it.
Don't see the extension option? There are a number of reasons why you may not see the Request an extension link on your dashboard; for example, your latest bill may be overdue by more than two weeks or you're on a payment plan. If you need an extension and you can't set it up through My Account or the Origin app, contact us and we'll work out what to do.
If you're eligible for a payment extension you'll be able to see it in the options. Request the payment extension by clicking on 'Request payment extension' button.
