Find next meter read date

Go to View plan details and scroll down to see when your next meter read is scheduled. Otherwise, find it on the second page of your bill.

What you can do

Find your next meter read date

  1. From the menu choose Usage (browser: top menu, Origin app: bottom menu)

  2. In the Usage screen, choose the account you want to check the next meter read for e.g. gas or electricity

  3. Scroll past the usage information and you'll see your next scheduled meter read date (+/- 3 days)

Important notes

  • 'Smart' (digital) meters send information to the network dynamically, so there's no physical meter read

  • Standard meters aren't digital, and a meter reader will come to your property to take a physical read and pass the information on to us for billing. You'll still be able to see the next scheduled read date in My Account.
