How to report a scam
If you come across a scam, take a moment to report it. It’s a simple way to help others stay safe and stop the scam spreading.
Report any scams to Scamwatch at scamwatch.gov.au/report-a-scam
Send details of the scam to Origin at digitalsecurity@originenergy.com.au or call 13 24 61 so we can help prevent the possible scam from spreading.
If you see a scam on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or another social media app, report it through the app’s reporting feature and block the account or page.
Let your family, friends, colleagues and fellow businesses know about scams you’ve come across. Just make sure you don't forward the email on.
