What to do if you think you’ve been scammed

It's important to act as soon as you can.

  1. Contact your bank immediately and get their advice on whether to cancel your cards or block your accounts

  2. If you’ve ‘logged in’ to the scam website with your My Account details, change your password in My Account or the Origin app, or contact us ASAP so we can help you reset your password. If you use the same password on other websites, you should change those as well

  3. If there’s theft or fraud involved, visit or call your local police station

  4. If you’ve been the victim of identity theft, contact IDCARE – a free government-funded service. Visit idcare.org or call 1800 595 160
