Why do I need to meet an Ambassador?

At the end of your application process (after your Background Check has been cleared) and before you can work with us here at Orka Works, you need to be vetted to the BS7858 regulations.

Part of this involves seeing you and your documents together over a video call. This will be on Google Meet, and will require you to have a Gmail account (If you don't, just send us a message and we'll arrange an alternative).

All documents need to be physical documents, they cannot be screenshots or webpages.

What do I need to take?

You will need to have all of the documents that you have provided as part of your background check.

These will be:

  • Your proof of Right to Work.

This can be a UK Passport, UK Birth Certificate, or a Share Code which you can obtain here:
    https://www.gov.uk/prove-right-to-work

  • Two proof of address documents.

This can be a driving license, letter from any government branch (HMRC, DVLA etc), a council tax bill, a bank statement, or a utility bill dated within the last three months.

  • Your SIA badge(s) for security roles.

IMPORTANT: If you have a Tier 4 Student Visa (showing a 20 hour restriction on your Biometric Residence Permit), you will also need to bring proof of your term times from your University to your appointment - an example of which can be seen below.
