Pay

  1. When is pay day?

    Pay day is the first Wednesday of every month 💸

  2. Why has my balance disappeared?

    A week before payday, your balance will disappear. This is because we are processing your pay for the rest of the week and you will not be able to access Instant Pay in this period ⏱

  3. What is Instant Pay?

    Instant Pay allows you to withdraw your monthly pay early. This can be done every week. There are some important terms to this so please read the article below 💵

  1. What is Geofencing?

    Geofencing is an area put around a site where you are allowed to clock in or out. This makes sure that we know you are on site and safe when clocking in. For the full scoop check out the article ⭕️

  2. What should I know before my first shift?

    Before your first shift it is important to know where you are going, what uniform you need to wear, the name of your site contact and the time you need to be there for 👮‍♂️

  3. My shift is over but my cover hasn't arrived

    If cover has not arrived you need to get in contact with the company you are working for and explain the situation. You also need to let us know here at Orka. It may be that the next worker is running late and you need to stay a little while longer. Don't worry - you will be paid for this ⏱

  4. How do I clock in and out of shifts?

    On the home page of your app, 10 minutes before your shift is due to start you will see a clock in button on the job card. You need to press this to make sure you get paid. As well as this you can clock out and you need to repeat the process on the home page of the app ✅

  5. Can I apply to jobs with no SIA license?

    Unfortunately you are only able to work security shifts with an SIA license so you need this before you can work a shift through Orka Works 💳

  2. How can I cancel a shift?

    There may be certain circumstances where you have to cancel a shift due to illness or for other means. That's okay and we completely understand it may happen from time to time - please make sure you provide the reason why, and do everything possible to give as much notice to the client as you can. We do have a cancellation policy so please try to adhere to it as much as possible to avoid penalties ❌

  3. How much does it cost to use Orka Works?

    Orka Works is completely free to create an account and find work. The only fee involved is when you want to withdraw money early using our Instant Pay feature, in which case there is a charge of 4%.
