Orphex for Microsoft 365 Copilot - Support & Setup

Written by Enes Gunduz

Overview

Connect Microsoft 365 Copilot to Orphex to query your advertising performance using natural language, directly from Copilot Chat, Copilot in Excel, or the Researcher agent. The connection is read-only, preventing any modifications to campaigns or settings.

What You Can Ask

Copilot answers questions about your reporting data, such as:

  • "What's the current state of my Orphex ad accounts this week?"

  • "Show me CPC, CTR, and ROAS by campaign for the last 30 days."

  • "Have there been any unusual spend or performance anomalies in my accounts recently?"

  • "Run a budget allocation analysis across my active campaigns."

Requirements

  • An Orphex account with workspace access

  • A Microsoft 365 Copilot license with connector support, in Copilot Chat, Copilot in Excel, or the Researcher agent

  • Your organization's Microsoft 365 admin must enable the Orphex connector for your tenant before it becomes available to you

Connection Steps

  1. Ask your Microsoft 365 admin to enable Orphex from Copilot → Connectors in the Microsoft 365 admin center, if it isn't enabled yet.

  2. Open Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat (or Researcher, or Copilot in Excel), go to Settings → Sources, find Orphex, and select Connect.

  3. Sign in with your Orphex-linked identity. Workspace selection happens automatically as part of this sign-in — you won't need to enter any code.

  4. Ask Copilot a data question to confirm the connection is working.

Security note: Treat your Orphex sign-in the same way you'd treat any other account credential — never share it with anyone claiming to need it for support.

Managing Connections

From your Orphex account's connections view, you can:

  • Review connected clients and their linked workspaces

  • Revoke access instantly (this takes effect immediately and requires reconnecting to restore access)

Troubleshooting Guide

Issue

Cause

Solution

Orphex isn't listed under Sources

Your admin hasn't enabled the connector yet

  • Authentication uses OAuth 2.0

  • You control access and can revoke it at any time

Support

Contact Orphex via in-app chat with your connection key. Never share passwords or access tokens with anyone, including Orphex support.
