Creative AI analysis credits

Running a Creative AI analysis now costs credits. Until now, the only credit cost of a Creative AI analysis was labeling your creatives – the analysis itself ran for free. Since every analysis now produces more than one insight view, each analysis run has its own credit cost, shown to you before you run it. This cost is calculated by Orphex from the number of creatives and labels in the analysis, and it is charged in addition to labeling credits.

How the analysis cost is calculated

The analysis cost depends on two things: how many creatives the analysis covers, and how many labels your workspace schema has. The more creatives and the more labels, the higher the cost.

Each analysis produces two insight views by default – an overall view and a combination view – so the base cost is multiplied by two. A typical analysis of around 50 creatives with 12 labels costs about 6 credits.

The analysis cost is calculated by Orphex, not by the ad platform. It is charged in addition to labeling credits, which are 1 credit per image and 3 credits per video. The analysis cost does not replace labeling credits.

Here are typical examples:

Where you see the cost before running

You always see the analysis cost before an analysis runs, so there are no surprise charges.

In the new analysis modal, the cost appears as a small line under the credit summary: "*Analysis cost is xx". The "xx" is the credit cost of that specific analysis.

In the re-label modal, the cost table includes a line in the format "X analyses → xx credits", where "X" is the number of saved analyses that will re-run and "xx" is their total cost.

What happens when your balance is too low

If your balance does not cover the analysis cost, the analysis does not start. Orphex blocks the run instead of letting you spend credits on labeling for an analysis that would never complete.

If your balance does cover the analysis cost, the analysis cost is set aside first. The remaining balance is then used to work out how many creatives can be labeled. This means the number of labelable creatives is calculated after the analysis cost is reserved, not before.

Orphex does not charge you for an analysis that does not run.

Re-labeling now re-runs your saved analyses

When you edit your label definitions and re-label a workspace, your saved analyses are re-run so their insights stay current. Previously, re-labeling refreshed the labels but left saved-analysis insights outdated.

Because these analyses re-run, re-labeling now has an analysis cost too. The re-label modal shows this cost before you confirm, so you can see how many analyses will re-run and what they will cost.

What analysis cost does not do

  • The analysis cost does not replace labeling credits. It is charged in addition to them.

  • Orphex does not charge the analysis cost if your balance cannot cover it. The run does not start.

  • The analysis cost is not hidden. It is shown in the modal before every analysis and every re-label.

  • Re-labeling does not leave saved-analysis insights outdated anymore. Saved analyses re-run automatically.

  • You cannot run a Creative AI analysis without enough credits to cover the analysis cost.

Frequently asked questions

Is the analysis cost separate from labeling credits?
Yes. Labeling credits (1 per image, 3 per video) are charged as before, and the analysis cost is added on top.

How much does a typical analysis cost?
A typical analysis of around 50 creatives with 12 labels costs about 6 credits, plus labeling credits. Larger analyses with more creatives or more labels cost more.

Does re-labeling cost credits?
Yes. Re-labeling re-runs your saved analyses, and those runs have an analysis cost, shown in the re-label modal before you confirm.

Why can't I start my analysis?
Your balance does not cover the analysis cost. Add credits, or reduce the scope of the analysis, then try again.

Does the ad platform set this cost?
No. The analysis cost is calculated by Orphex from the number of creatives and labels in the analysis.

Will I be charged if the analysis fails to run?
No. Orphex does not charge you for an analysis that does not run.
