How to Manage Meta Ads and Google Ads through Orphex MCP

Change budgets, pause things, fix keywords and adjust targeting on Meta and Google Ads by asking, with every change shown to you before it happens.

Written by Furkan Savrun

You can ask the assistant to change things in Meta and Google Ads, not just tell you about them. You describe what you want in normal language, it shows you exactly what would change, and it only goes ahead when you say yes.

Two things have to be true before changes are available: your Orphex plan includes them, and the switch is on for that workspace. You also need editing rights. With view access you can still ask anything you like about the numbers.

What you can change

The two platforms are not the same, and it is worth knowing where the differences are.

Both platforms

  • Turn campaigns, ad groups, ad sets and ads on and off

  • Change daily budgets

  • Change bids and bidding strategy

  • Change schedules, so ads run at the hours you want

  • Create new campaigns and ads, always paused to start with

  • Tag things with labels so you can find them later

Google Ads only

  • Add and remove keywords, including negative keywords

  • Block placements, including the account-level exclusion, which is the only one that reaches Performance Max

  • Change location, language and audience targeting

  • Tell the bidding algorithm about a sale coming up, or about a day when your site was broken

  • Run a proper split test before committing to a change

  • Change which conversions the account optimises towards

Meta only

  • Cap how often the same person sees your ad, which Meta calls a frequency cap

  • Set spending ceilings and lifetime budgets

  • Change ad set targeting

  • Set up Meta's own automated rules

  • Swap the creative on an existing ad

  • Edit lots of ads at once

How a change actually happens

Every change goes the same way, and nothing reaches Google or Meta until the last step.

  1. Orphex checks whether the change would even be allowed, without touching anything.

  2. It shows you what would change: the campaign, the setting, the value now and the value after.

  3. You say yes. If your workspace requires it, someone else says yes instead.

  4. It makes the change, then checks with the platform that it landed.

  5. It writes down what happened, with your name on it.

You have 15 minutes to agree to what you are shown. If that passes, the preview stays available for 24 hours and your assistant asks for a fresh confirmation on the same preview. You do not describe the change again.

Things people ask for

  • "Which campaigns are running out of budget every day but doing well?"

  • "Raise the brand campaign's daily budget by 20%. Show me before and after."

  • "Pause every ad group where we are paying more than double our usual cost per sale. Show me the list first."

  • "This ad is being shown too often. Cap it."

  • "Add these as negative keywords. Let me see the list before you do it."

  • "Set up four campaigns, one per country, from this brief. Leave them all paused."

Changing your mind

Budgets, on and off switches, spending caps, bids, schedules and targeting can all be put back. Ask the assistant to undo it, and you approve the undo the same way.

Creating is different. A new campaign or ad arrives paused so it never spends by surprise, and Orphex does not undo the creation itself.

⚠️ Deleting is permanent. A deleted campaign takes its ad groups, ad sets and ads with it, and the preview counts what would go before you agree. Pause instead unless you are certain.

The safety limits

There are a few things Orphex refuses, on purpose. The refusal happens at the preview step, before anything reaches the ad platform.

  • A single change does not move a budget by more than 50%. If you want to double something, do it in two steps. This is there so a typo does not become a live budget.

  • A workspace does not create more than 50 new campaigns, ad sets or ads in a day.

  • A spending cap at or below what has already been spent is refused, because it would do nothing.

When Orphex refuses, that is the answer rather than a fault. Asking again the same way gets the same refusal.

What it will not do

  • It does not change anything you have not seen and approved.

  • It does not add negative keywords on Meta, because Meta does not have them.

  • It does not cap frequency on Google, because that is a Meta setting.

  • It does not rename campaigns. You can label them instead.

  • It does not undo the creation of a campaign or ad, and it does not undo a delete.

When something does not work

What you see

Why

What to do

It answers questions but has no way to change anything

You connected before changes were switched on for you

Sign in to Orphex from the assistant again with the same account. It adds the missing part to your existing connection

Orphex refused your budget change

The move is more than 50%, or a spending cap is at or below what is already spent

Split it into two changes, or set a higher cap

You approved something and nothing happened

The 15 minutes passed

Ask your assistant for a fresh confirmation. The preview is unchanged and lasts 24 hours

It changed the wrong account

You did not say which workspace, so it used your main one

Name the workspace in your question

Common questions

Can it change my budgets without asking me?
No. Every change is shown to you first and only happens when you agree.

Can I undo a budget change?
Yes. Ask it to put it back, and approve the undo the same way.

Can I undo a campaign it created?
No. It arrives paused, so nothing is spent, but removing it is a delete and that is permanent.

Why was my budget change refused?
Almost always the 50% limit on a single change. Do it in two steps.

Could a colleague spend money through this without me knowing?
No, not silently. Only someone with editing rights in a workspace where changes are on. Every change has a name on it, and your workspace can require two people to approve.
