You do not have to go looking for your plan details. Just ask.
"What plan am I on, and what have I used of it?"
What comes back
Which Orphex plan you are on
Whether making changes to ad accounts is included in it
How many connections you are using, and how many your plan allows
How many people you have, and how many your plan allows
How far back your reporting goes
The next plan up, what it costs, and what it would give you
This answers for your whole Orphex account rather than one workspace, and it is read at the moment you ask, so a connection you made five minutes ago is already counted.
Why you might be full when you look like you are not
Connections are counted in groups as well as in total. You can have spare capacity across the account and still be unable to add another connection, because the group you are adding to is full.
If that happens, ask which group is full rather than assuming the whole account is.
The limits that apply while you work
Separate from your plan, a few limits exist so that a mistake does not become expensive. Orphex applies them at the preview step, before anything reaches an ad platform.
One connection reads up to 50 workspaces, and they all have to sit under the same Orphex account. A workspace does not create more than 50 new campaigns, ad sets or ads in a day. A single change does not move a budget by more than 50%, so doubling a budget takes two changes. A spending cap at or below what has already been spent is refused, because it would have no effect.
Limit | Applies to |
50 workspaces | One connection |
50 new campaigns, ad sets or ads per day | One workspace |
50% maximum budget move | One change |
Spending cap at or below spend so far | Refused outright |
When one of these stops you, that is the answer rather than a fault. Asking again the same way gets the same response. If a limit genuinely does not suit how you work, tell us.
If changes are not available to you
Two separate things have to be true before an assistant can change anything, and a third is about you personally.
Your Orphex plan includes changes.
The switch is on for that workspace.
You have editing rights in it rather than view-only.
If any of the three is missing, the assistant answers questions and has no way to change anything. Asking what plan you are on tells you whether the blocker is the plan or the workspace.
One thing that catches people out: if you connected before changes were switched on, your connection stays read-only afterwards. Signing in again from the assistant fixes it without losing your settings.
What this does not do
Orphex does not change your plan from the chat. It tells you what the next one up costs, and you upgrade in Orphex.
Orphex does not remove the limits above on any plan.
Orphex does not report usage for a single workspace. Plan and usage are answered for the whole account.
Orphex does not count your assistant's own plan. ChatGPT, Claude and Copilot have their own plan requirements for connectors, separate from your Orphex plan.
When something does not add up
What you see | Why | What to do |
You cannot add another connection despite having spare capacity | The group you are adding to is full even though the account is not | Ask which group is full |
It says changes are not available | Your plan, the workspace switch, or your own access level | Ask what plan you are on. It tells you whether the plan or the workspace is the blocker |
Reporting does not go back as far as you expect | Your Orphex plan sets how far back reporting reaches | Ask what your plan allows, and what the next one up gives you |
You hit a daily creation limit | That workspace has already created 50 new things today | Continue tomorrow, or get in touch |
Common questions
How do I check my plan?
Yes, you can just ask the assistant. It reads it live.
Can the assistant upgrade me?
No. It tells you what the next plan costs and includes, and you upgrade in Orphex.
Does every plan include making changes?
No, and the workspace switch has to be on as well. Ask and it tells you where you stand.
Do my limits reset?
Yes for the daily creation limit, which resets each day. Connection and seat limits are what your plan gives you.
Is this the same as my ChatGPT or Claude plan?
No. Those have their own requirements for connectors, separate from Orphex.
