Step 1: Charge Your Devices
Place both hearing aids in the charging case, ensuring the contacts align (you'll feel a small magnetic click).
Connect the case to power using the included USB-C cable.
Charge for at least 2 hours before first use. A full charge typically takes 2–3 hours.
LED indicators on the case will turn solid green when charging is complete.
Step 2: Fit Your Ear Tips
Finding the right ear tip size makes a significant difference in comfort and sound quality.
Start with the medium ear tips (pre-installed).
Insert the hearing aid by gently pulling your ear back and slightly upward, then placing the tip in the ear canal.
You should feel a secure but comfortable seal. If sound seems hollow or distant, try a smaller tip. If the fit feels tight or uncomfortable, try a larger tip.
Step 3: Power On
Remove both hearing aids from the charging case. They will power on automatically.
You'll hear a startup chime in both ears.
If they don't turn on automatically, press and hold the button on each device for 3 seconds.
Step 4: Pair with Your Smartphone (Bluetooth)
Open your phone's Settings → Bluetooth and ensure Bluetooth is turned on.
On your iPhone: Go to Settings → Accessibility → Hearing Devices.
On Android: Go to Settings → Accessibility → Hearing Aids (location varies by device).Place both hearing aids near your phone. They should appear as "iHear TReO" in the device list.
Tap to pair. Accept any prompts.
Once paired, you can stream audio, adjust volume, and access settings through the iHear app (download from the App Store or Google Play).
Step 5: Your First Listen
Start in a quiet environment for the first 30–60 minutes. This helps your brain adjust to amplified sound.
Gradually move to more complex environments (conversations with others, TV, outdoors) over the first few days.
Most new users take 1–2 weeks to fully acclimate. This is completely normal.
Tips for the Best Experience
Wear both hearing aids even if your hearing loss is stronger in one ear.
Use the companion app to fine-tune the sound profile to your preference.
Store in the charging case when not in use to extend battery life.
