Creating a Campaign

A step-by-step guide to set up and launch a campaign with Otis AI.

Step 1. Create an account

  1. Click Create Account

  2. Enter your name, business name, website, phone number, monthly ad budget (if none, input an estimate), and password

  3. Agree to the terms and privacy policy

  4. Click Create Account


Step 2. Answer Basic Questions About Your Business

After creating your account, answer a few basic questions about your business, such as:

  • Platforms you’ve used before

  • Performance benchmarks (cost per lead, or return on ad spend)

  • Feedback from customers

  • Value proposition

  • Business vertical

  • What products or services you sell,

  • Campaign goals (sales, leads, etc.)

  • Target customers and locations

  • Average product price and monthly revenue

  • Best days of the week for sales

Otis uses this information to create a tailored AI Media Strategy.


Step 3. Review Your AI Media Strategy

Once your AI Media Plan is generated, you’ll see:

  • Budget recommendations

  • Optimal days to advertise

  • Audience interests

  • Channel distribution (e.g., Meta, Google, TikTok)

  • Top-performing locations

This strategy helps you focus on the most effective channels without spreading your budget too thin.


Step 4. Creating Your Campaign: Creative & Copy

Choose ad placements: Meta, Google Search, Google Display, or TikTok.

Select a creative path:

  • Create Your Own: Upload media from your local files.

  • Readymade templates: Select from high-performing templates you can easily customize.

  • Created For You: Let Otis generate images based on your website or from data sources like Wix, Shopify, and more.

*Uploading or Changing Images: The two options are ‘Local file' or 'Image Generator.'

  • Local file: Upload a high-quality image or video from your computer or files.

  • Image Generator: Two ways to generate images

    1. AI Images – Type a description of the image and art style you want.

    2. Website Images – Enter your website URL, and it will pull relevant images from your site.

Name your campaign and set a landing page (where you want users to take action)

Write exciting headlines. We recommend a minimum of 3 headlines, but you can always add more.

Otis will scan your landing page and provide AI-recommended headlines/descriptions, along with predictive performance scores (0–100) to help improve your copy. Higher scores = higher likelihood of success. You can refresh the recommendations to boost the score.

Do the same for the descriptions. This is where you tell customers why they should choose you. Then, explain what’s unique about your product or service.

Preview ads across platforms on the right and choose the top-performing copy.


Step 5. Campaign Goals & Audience

Select your primary conversion goal (e.g., sales, leads, signups, brand awareness).

Choose your audience:

  • Existing customers: People that you've already done business with.

  • New customers: Utilize segments in your AI media strategy to target individuals who are similar to your existing customers.

  • Or select both!

Select a location: You can target broadly (e.g., the United States) or hyper-locally using a business address and set a radius. You can also add multiple service areas.

Select to start the campaign today or schedule it for a specific date.


Step 6. Data Integration

Connect your Facebook page. Verify you have admin access so that Otis can run ads on your behalf. This is a crucial step, as you won’t be able to run ads without connecting your page!

Connect your customer data using one-click integrations with platforms like Shopify, HubSpot, Mailchimp, QuickBooks, and more. This helps Otis build smarter audiences and improve targeting accuracy.

(Optional) Social media sales tracking: Set up a pixel for Facebook, TikTok, or Google Tag to measure conversions.


Step 7. Preview Your Campaign

  • Review previews for each channel

  • Make edits or remove platforms if needed

  • Move on the the final step.


Step 8. Budget & Launch

Set your daily ad budget. We recommend a minimum of $25. You can go higher if you wish, but lower than $25 won’t get you results.

Input your payment method and make sure to click ‘Save’. On the right, you can select or change your subscription plan that best fits your needs.

  • Essential plan is $100/month + 12% of ad spend,

  • Pro plan is $250/month + 10% of ad spend

  • Let’s Chat for larger budgets and custom support.

Review the billing breakdown on the right. You can also see the platform budget allocation.

Once you are satisfied, then you’re ready to click Launch.

🚀 Congratulations, you’ve launched a campaign!

Note: After launch, campaigns go through a 24-hour review period before delivery begins. We will reach out to confirm that your ads are running and verify conversion tracking.


Results

View results in the Otis Dashboard. You’ll see metrics such as:

  • Ad spend

  • Impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC

  • Sales and conversions

  • ROAS and other KPIs

You’ll also receive weekly email reports.
