What is the Explore tab for?
This is where you’ll find quick and easy exercises that will help you manage your tinnitus. They are isolated from the Daily Therapy, so that you can reinforce what you've been learning in your daily sessions.
How do I use them?
Perhaps you found a tool in a Daily Therapy session particularly helpful? You'll find more of the same kind of exercise here, so you can develop your technique and explore different ways of using that tool.
Or perhaps you found a technique particularly hard? Some of the tools in the Daily Therapy are new and it's totally normal to need to revisit what you are learning. This allows you to focus specifically on an area that you'd like to explore further, and keep practicing it to see if it can help you manage your tinnitus.
When do I do these sessions?
It's really your choice. We recommend doing one Daily Therapy session a day, but you can choose to do them whenever it works for you. The Explore tab allows you to practice techniques alongside your Daily Therapy, but it shouldn't be used as a replacement. This will allow you to reinforce what you've learnt in your Daily Therapy sessions, both old and new, letting you develop your technique regularly.
What if I only like one tool in the therapy?
Our therapy is varied so that you can find what tools best help you. You’ll probably find that you prefer some tools over others. That's fine and to be expected! Feel free to enjoy embedding that tool in your day to day life. It's great that you've found a tool that helps, and you can feel free to focus on it.
Just make sure it doesn't close you off to the possibility of trying other, less familiar, tools. Often our community are surprised by the exercises that end up helping them effectively manage their tinnitus, as they try tools they've never considered using before.
