A lot of people around the world have tinnitus. About 37% of children will notice tinnitus at some point. Most people find it extremely difficult to get used to the sound at first. It can make it harder to hear what friends are saying, to concentrate at school, to relax at home and to sleep.

These sessions are specific to young people.

The context of school, friends and the life of a younger person is different to that of someone older, where therapy that's related to the context of their life and the way tinnitus impacts them: work, family, relationships, is helpful.

Whilst CBT for young people is effective, these sessions also include more emphasis on visualisations. Imaginative techniques that empower the young person to take control over their tinnitus noise are very helpful.

Please note that these sessions must be supervised by an adult.
