If you can't find the tie-pattern you need in the Tie-Pattern Library you can create your own. Follow these steps to create a tie-pattern.
From the “Scheduling Administration” screen, select “tie-patterns.”
Create a new tie-pattern by selecting the # of tie-patterns you wish to create from the green drop-down menu.
Enter the appropriate information (SEQ, Name, Description (optional), number of teams, and number of teams per game).
Save this information.
Click on the name of the new tie-pattern you just created
You will see a drop-down that lists all of your other tie-patterns. Select the tie-pattern you would like to clone (this will not make changes to your previous tie-pattern).
You can add more games to the new tie-pattern by selecting the # of games you wish to add from the drop-down at the top.
You can view a distribution list that will show you how many games each team is playing and what the general tie-pattern looks like.
If you need placement codes (ex. -999 = Finals) click on the Placeholder codes link at the top. You will NOT need to add a flight in for that tie-pattern. The negative sign denotes the name of the tie-pattern.
