If there is not enough space to include all members who should receive a copy of the confirmation message, then an alias should be created. If a member were to email an alias, that email would automatically forward to an email address (mailbox) or to multiple mailboxes that you instructed. An alias can be created for the group of people who need to receive the confirmation message. The alias email address is then entered into the CC and/or BCC for credit card and/or check confirmation messages. When someone applies, the confirmation message is sent to the alias and then automatically forwarded to every email address listed.
For example, if we created confirmation@YOURDOMAIN.com it could automatically forward to sample@YOURDOMAIN.com, example@YOURDOMAIN.com, and demo@YOURDOMAIN.com. Aliases can also forward to a limited number of email addresses outside of your club's domain.
