For starters, ensure Employees are added to the Leaderboard in the Employer portal. Once Employees are added to the Leaderboard, they will receive a welcome email from Edge with their login information. See How to add/edit Employees? to learn more!
After Employees sign in, here is how they access their bonuses:
Each team member will need to sign into the Edge Mobile App, then head to the "Virtual Wallet" section within their portal. If they have earnings to transfer, this will be displayed in the Wallet. They can click the button within the Wallet to send themself an e-check for their earnings -- this will be sent directly to their email.
Please make sure employees check both inbox and spam folders! The check is sent from Checkbook.io. Within this email, they will be able to add their bank account for ACH direct deposit.
If they have previously set up direct deposit through Checkbook.io, they won't need to do this again! Once the employee transfers their earnings from their Wallet, it will automatically direct deposit to their bank account.
We have removed the Print and Mail options and only have Direct Deposit available for a number of reasons based on what us and our customers were experiencing:
1. Shorter processing period - these are two of the quickest options available
2. Security - checks would often get lost and have to be resent, this ensures checks are sent to and cashed by the right person and in a timely manner
3. Convenience - issues with cashing the printed checks with local banks or would never receive them in the first place
