Creating Daily Spend Cap for Ad Groups
Updated over a month ago

While credit is assigned to an account and budgets are created for campaigns, you should also set daily spend caps for your ad groups. This feature ensures you won’t spend more than you want on a specific ad group daily.

Please note that the ability to set a daily ad group budget depends on the Budget Optimization setting at the campaign level. If you decide to disable budget optimization, you can follow the instructions below for daily budget calculation.

This formula is strongly encouraged if your goal is an evenly-paced campaign. It can also be used to adjust the daily spend cap at any point during the campaign (but in that case, replace the campaign budget in the formula with the remaining budget).

While logged into Outbrain DSP at the ad group level, select Settings and scroll down to the Bidding and Budgets section. Enter your daily spend cap and click Save.
