Dynamic titles allow you to use specific macros in your ad titles, which expand according to the location and the day of the week of the ad impression.
This feature enables you to create titles that are more relevant to your audience and should lead to higher engagement and conversion rates.
Here are a few examples of dynamic ad titles:
"Netflix Is Now Available in {country}" would display to a user in Latvia as "Netflix Is Now Available in Latvia"
"Don't Miss Out on {dayofweek}'s Special Offer!" would be displayed on Tuesday as "Don't Miss Out on Tuesday's Special Offer!"
"You won't believe this new trend in {city}!" would be displayed in Germany as "You won't believe this new trend in Berlin!"
"Here are the best {currentyear} Black Friday deals!" would be displayed in 2022 as "Here are the best 2022 Black Friday deals!".
How To Use Dynamic Titles in Your Ad Group
1. Navigate to the ad group where you'd like to use Dynamic Titles.
2. Select + Ads and add the dynamic macros to the Ad Title using this format {keyword}. Here's the full list of supported macros. Simply replace the keyword in the macro with any of the values below.
{country}
{region}
{city}
{dayofweek}
{currentyear}
You can also add from 1 to 6 days to {dayofweek} macro by adding "+X" to the end of the macro name.
For example:
- {dayofweek+1} would turn to Wednesday if today is Tuesday.
- {dayofweek+3} would turn to Friday if today is Tuesday.
IMPORTANT: Keep in mind you are not able to subtract the days. However, adding the appropriate number can always get the same result. For instance, if you want to display yesterday's day, you can add 6 days {dayofweek+6}.
PLEASE NOTE:
Dynamic value macros are case-sensitive. Please make sure to always use lower caps.
Region macro will be replaced by state name on all US targeted campaigns.
Dynamic titles are available globally, but they only support the following languages:
English, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Dynamic titles will be automatically capitalized.
Dynamic additions can lengthen titles, so try to keep them shorter (ideally, 40-50 characters).
This functionality is only supported on RTB sources.
