To connect Outbrain DSP and Supermetrics, first ensure that your DSP User (Account) has Reporting Permission, allowing you to generate reports from Outbrain DSP.
Step 1: Connector Early Access
Go to the Supermetrics Connectors page and find Outbrain DSP.
Step 2: Select Destination
Click on “Start free trial.” Four options will open. Make sure to select “Supermetrics API” and click on “Start Trial.”
Step 3: Supermetrics Login
Once you click on “Start Trial,” you will be redirected to the Supermetrics Query Manager, where you will need to log in with your Supermetrics Account.
Step 4: Supermetrics API
Once you are logged in and have Query Manager open, click on “For the Supermetrics API.”
Step 5: Search for Outbrain DSP Data Source
Once you have selected the Supermetrics API in the Query Manager, you will be able to search for different data sources. In this case, enter “Outbrain DSP” in the search window and select the Outbrain DSP data source.
Step 6: Register New Application
Next, you need to obtain your Client ID and Client Secret (which will be used in later steps). To obtain the Client ID and Client Secret, go to Outbrain DSP Applications and request a new application.
Next, name your application and click Save.
In the next screen, you will be presented with a Client ID and Client Secret.
Step 7: Connect to Outbrain DSP
Once you have created the application, you will need to copy your Client ID and Client Secret, which you created in the previous step. Go to Outbrain DSP Applications and copy the Client ID and Secret created previously.
Paste your Client ID and Client Secret into the form.
Once you have copied all the necessary information, click Start. Your Outbrain DSP data is now being integrated into Supermetrics.
