After adding information to the Results page, it's essentiale to add a clear Call To Action (CTA) button to direct users to your website or enable Social Share. Here's how you can configure the CTA button functionality:
Configuring CTA Button functionality
1. Open the respective content in build mode and navigate to the results page.
2. To configure a generic CTA button for the Results page, navigate to the Results Page tab, and scroll down to the Add Button setting. Toggle on the Add Button setting.
3. Edit the CTA text according to what you'd like to show to the users. In the URL field, mention the phone number, email ID, or URL on your webpage.
4. You can also allow the users to download a PDF from the Results/Outcome page by navigating to the Save As PDF tab.
5. If you want to display CTA buttons for specific results/outcomes you have created in your content, you can navigate to the specific result and then enable the Primary CTA button. You can also choose to enable a Secondary CTA button as you need.
After making the necessary changes, click on "Publish" to save them. Once saved, you can access the content using the live link. Please note that when you click on the "Call to Book Appointment/Email/URL" button, a prompt will appear requesting permission for Outgrow to access DialPad/Email/Webpage, respectively. Please make sure to accept the prompt to proceed.
Important Note
There is also an option to Save Results as PDF, where the user can save the results in a PDF format that you can configure under the Configure tab. You can read more about it here.
Understanding CTA Clicks data under Analytics
To gain insights into the CTA Clicks data available in Analytics, navigate to the User Funnels section located in the Analyze tab. By using this feature, you can analyze the point at which users dropped off from the content as well as the number of users who clicked the CTA button. Furthermore, you can also obtain the click-through rate, which should benchmark at 15-20% when compared to a suitable CTA.
Important Note
If you have set up Conditional Messaging, you can customize the Call To Action (CTA) button for each condition. For instance, for a specific condition, you can set the CTA button to direct a user to a URL, while for another condition, you can set it up to enable the user to contact your team via a call or email.
