How to add a teammate to Ovation

Follow the steps below to add an additional user onto your account.

Ovation is much better with friends! Administrators and Location Managers can easily invite team members in just a few minutes.

Start by opening the Settings drop down on the left, then selecting Team.

Click "Invite Teammate"

Enter in the name, email address and cell phone number of the person you would like to invite.

Note: Cell phone number is required for them to log in and receive conversation notifications

Select which roll you would like them to have and which locations they will be assigned to.

Admin: Has full access to all locations and all settings
Location Manager: Has full access to only a particular location(s)
Employee: Has access to a particular location(s), but cannot change settings


Click “Send Invitation”


Invitation Acceptance


An email will be sent to the individual inviting them to Ovation and asking them to activate their account. They will select “Accept Invitation”. If a phone number was included in the user invitation, this will open their browser and send a 6-digit verification code to their cell phone. They will enter in the code when it is asked of them to activate their account. 

Bulk User Invite

Administrators can upload a CSV file containing up to 100 users at a time and map each user to their appropriate Role and Location assignment.
Note: This functionality is not available for Location Managers

Each user must have all required information provided, in order for the Admin to send email invitations.

Start by opening the Settings drop down on the left, then selecting Team.

Click "Upload bulk list"


If the file is accepted, click "Next".


On the bulk List mapping page, be sure to resolve any errors and assign a role and set of locations for each user.


Individual users can be deleted from the bulk upload by clicking into the more menu and selecting "Delete"


Bulk Actions

To access bulk actions, the Admin can click the checkbox to the left of the user's name to select multiple users and apply bulk actions.

Bulk actions include:

  1. Select & apply Role

  2. Select & apply Location assignment

To send the bulk invitations to the team, click "Send Invitation". Individual invitation emails will be sent out, as described above.
