Offers are coupons or discounts that can be sent and redeemed by your customers and tracked through Ovation.
Offers can be attached to any conversation or campaign and appear as a redemption link a message to your customers.
How do I create an offer?
To create an offer, navigate to the offers page from the top menu under "Take Action"
Click “Create an Offer”
Alternatively, you can create a new offer from any conversation by clicking “+ Offer” or the tag icon below the message field and selecting “Create Offer”
When creating a new offer, you will be asked to add a title to your offer. This is where you will state what the offer is good for (e.g. 10% off, BOGO, Free Burrito, etc.)
You can also add details to the offer that you would like such as terms, conditions, expiration dates, instructions for customer/staff, and online codes.
You may also set the promo to expire after a certain time period or on a certain date.
Note that when setting a specific expiration date, that date will apply to every use of that offer. The offer will be valid until midnight on the day that it expires.
Attaching an offer to a conversation
To attach an offer to a conversation, simply click on the "+ Offer" or tag icon button below the message box in any conversation.
You will be presented with recent offers or the option to create a new one.
Select an offer. You can tell that it has been attached because the button at the bottom will turn blue and have the title of the offer that is attached.
Note: You cannot send an offer without also writing a message. Once you have written a short message, the “Send” button will be activated for you to send it off.
Using offers from the mobile app
Offers cannot be created from within the app, but you will be able to use saved offers from directly within the mobile application.
To do so, click on the tag icon at the bottom of any conversation and choose the offer you would like to send.
