The Font Manager
Here’s how to access it:
- While you’re working on a project, tap ‘Text’, add your text and tap the yellow check at the top of your screen.
- ‘Swipe’ over to ‘Font’ at the bottom of your screen.
3. Tap the upward facing chevron ^ in ‘Font’.
4. Voila! The Font Manager.
Tapping the upward facing arrow next to the fonts will send them to the top of the list and they will then appear first in the horizontal tool bar at the bottom of your screen.
Activating & Deactivating Fonts
Tap the “on/off” button from grey to green on the right of the font you’d like to activate. Tapping it from green to grey will deactivate it.
Installing Your Own Fonts
Any fonts you add on your own will also be stored in the Font Manager and you can rearrange, activate and deactivate them the same as the others.
It's fairly easy to install your own fonts in Over, but there are a few things to remember.
First of all... Before you install any font, make sure you have a license to use it on another computer/device.
You can deliver .otf and .ttf font files to your device by email, Dropbox or any other way that you can get a file to your device. You must access a proper font file – .otf, .ttf, or ZIP file with .otfs and/ or .ttfs.
Once you have the font files on your device, whether in email or Dropbox, tapping the “export” icon will give you an option to “import with Over” - tapping that will open the fonts straight into the app!
If you want to install fonts from a ZIP file, just press-and-hold on the ZIP file for the same option to install.
Now you're all set, why not try a design with a new font today?
