As we wrap up 2025, I wanted to take a moment to share how genuinely pleased I’ve been with the progress we’ve made at Overe this year. It has been one of those years where steady, disciplined execution compounds, and you start to see the shape of what you’re building much more clearly.
At Overe, we made a deliberate decision to stay focused, stay lean, and execute. The result was a year of sustained delivery, partner-led growth, and a platform that now looks very different to where we started the year.
For those newer to us, Overe helps MSPs and organisations secure Microsoft 365 at scale by standardising policy, detecting and auto-responding to SaaS-based threats, and guiding the right action across multiple tenants, without adding operational noise. Using our four-pillar approach, Assess, Harden, Monitor, and Respond, we bring structure and clarity to what is otherwise an increasingly complex security landscape.
2025, focused execution
As a product-centric team, there was no shortage of ideas, but we deliberately resisted feature sprawl. Instead, we prioritised depth, reliability, and outcomes driven directly by partner and customer needs, allowing us to demonstrate clear leadership in our chosen Microsoft 365 security use cases. That discipline translated into tangible results:
43 planned releases, roughly one every 8 days
20 major features delivered, comprising 370 user stories (see bottom of the email)
No notable downtime, although Cloudflare, AWS, and Microsoft kept us all on our toes this year
Around 500,000 customer anomalies detected globally, with billions of events monitored
15 new detection rules and 16 new security policies introduced
Partner-led growth
Our 2025 roadmap was shaped directly by partner and customer priorities, and every high-priority ask was delivered within the year, including our most recent major release with the new Global Dashboard and Action Hub.
We expanded our distribution partner footprint across the UK, France, Africa, Portugal, the USA, and Japan, with several additional strategic regions already in progress.
Today, Overe supports customers across North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia.
Alongside this, we continued working closely with experienced advisors and welcomed additional angel investors, whose support reinforced the strategy we were already executing.
Team and community
Everything above was delivered by a small, highly committed team. We brought the full team together in Barcelona, and spent time on the road with partners at events across France, Portugal, the UK, Japan, and the US. Those conversations directly influenced what we built and how we prioritised.
Looking ahead to 2026
As with 2025, our strategy remains consistent, helping MSPs and organisations move from detection and configuration towards guided, predictable security operations at scale.
2026 is about building on this foundation and accelerating growth.
A new partner portal with certification and training, alongside a refreshed website, launching in January to support enablement, onboarding, and co-selling at scale
SOC 2 compliance well underway, with certification expected in Q1
A rich product roadmap, with our most exciting developments centred on the Action Hub and deeper contextual guidance, including AI
Introduction of a policy impact predictor (name TBC), allowing partners to see exactly how recommended policy controls and templates will affect environments before enforcement
80+ additional policy controls, extending coverage across even more of the Microsoft ecosystem
And more to come!
Thank you for the trust, feedback, and support throughout 2025. The whole Overe team is genuinely excited about what we are building together and wishes you a healthy and successful 2026.
Best regards,
Paul Barnes
