Overe Welcome Tour 👋

Thanks for creating your first Site in Overe and connecting your Microsoft 365 tenant.

Over the next few emails we’ll walk through the four core capabilities of the platform: Assess, Harden, Monitor, and Respond - showing how Overe helps you continuously secure and operate your Microsoft 365 environment.

1. Assessing Your Tenant Security Posture

Today’s focus: understanding what your Microsoft 365 tenant actually looks like right now.

Now that your Microsoft 365 tenant is connected, it’s time to start with the first step: Assess.

Overe’s ASSESS - SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) capability is designed to give you a clear understanding of your tenant’s current security posture.

Instead of relying on periodic reviews or manual checks, Overe continuously evaluates your environment to uncover configuration gaps, risky policies, and tenant-level misconfigurations that can quietly introduce risk over time.

The goal is simple: show you exactly where security risk lives so you can prioritise what matters.

Inside the Assess section you’ll find several key views:

  • Threat Exposure Overview – A high-level view of where potential security risks exist across identities, tenant configuration, and access controls. This helps you quickly identify areas that may require further review.

  • License Assessment – Insights into how your current Microsoft licensing is being used and where additional native protections may already be available within your existing licences.

  • Secure Score Insights – A breakdown of your Microsoft Secure Score over time with recommended improvement actions and CIS-aligned guidance.

  • Deep Scan – A deeper configuration review across identity settings, authentication controls, email configuration, and tenant security policies. This scan highlights potential risks and configuration gaps that can appear over time as environments change.

Most customers start by reviewing the Threat Exposure Overview, then exploring the findings from the Deep Scan to understand where improvements may be needed.

Because Overe continuously monitors these configurations, it becomes easier to maintain visibility as your environment evolves.

If anything in the results raises questions, feel free to reply directly to this email.

Happy to walk through what you're seeing or provide additional context.
