Subscribing customers can now view detailed billing reports directly within the Overe portal. These reports show exactly how many identities are being billed across your sites, broken down per billing period, so you can understand and validate your charges without needing to contact support.
What is a billing report?
A billing report shows a breakdown of billable identities across your sites for a given period. It reflects the same metrics used to calculate your invoice, giving you full visibility into what you are being charged and why.
Each report includes:
A list of billable sites with their site name and integration ID
The total number of identities per site
The number of billable identities per site (using Overe's high-water mark billing method)
The billing period start and end dates
How to access your billing report
In the Overe portal, go to Org. Config from the left-hand menu.
Select the Billing tab.
Your current billing period report is shown by default.
To view a previous period, select the relevant month from the period selector.
Understanding billing periods
Overe uses a high-water mark billing method. This means that if an integration is onboarded and later deleted within a single billing period, those identities are still counted for that period. The billing report captures this accurately, including sites that may no longer be active.
Billing reports are available for:
Current period — the active billing period based on your Stripe subscription dates
Previous period — the most recently completed billing period
Specific month — any historical period, selectable by month and year
Why this matters
Before this feature, understanding exactly what you were being charged required contacting Overe or cross-referencing your invoice manually. The billing report gives you direct, real-time access to the same data used for invoicing, reducing ambiguity and making it easier to reconcile charges with your own records.
If you have questions about a specific charge or period, contact support@overe.io.
