PSA Integration in Overe

How Overe's native PSA integration works, including automatic ticket creation for anomaly events under the corresponding customer asset in your PSA platform.

What it is

Overe now includes a native integration with Professional Services Automation (PSA) platforms, starting with HaloPSA. When Overe detects a security anomaly event, it can automatically create a ticket in your PSA under the asset that corresponds to the affected customer.

This is a direct service integration, separate from the email or webhook notification workaround some customers have used previously. The native integration passes structured event data directly to your PSA and links the ticket to the correct customer asset automatically.

How it works

When an anomaly event is detected in Overe:

  1. Overe identifies the affected user and the organisation they belong to.

  2. The integration service looks up the corresponding asset in your PSA for that organisation.

  3. A ticket is created in your PSA under that asset, including details of the anomaly event.

This means tickets are automatically associated with the right customer in your PSA, reducing manual triage and making it easier to track security events alongside other service requests.

Current availability

The PSA integration service (API) is now generally available for HaloPSA. Your Overe account team can assist with initial setup while the portal configuration UI is in development.

If you are currently using custom notifications (email or webhook) to route anomaly alerts into your PSA, the native integration is designed to replace that workflow with a more structured and reliable connection.

Why it matters

MSPs managing security across multiple clients need their security tooling to feed directly into their service workflows. Previously, getting Overe anomaly events into a PSA required custom notification rules and manual mapping. The native integration removes that overhead and ensures that security events are tracked as tickets against the right customer from the moment they are detected.

Future releases will add portal-based configuration, additional PSA platforms, and further options for controlling which event types generate tickets and how they are categorised.
