We’re going to be making some changes to the way you interact with Overyield that we wanted you to be aware of:
In-App Billing
Billing will now be handled in-app for Overyield Pro subscriptions. If you have signed up for a subscription in the past, no action should be needed on your part, unless we’ve reached out to you specifically.
Teams
As before, you can “Create a new team” in the left menu of the home page. Teams are intended to organize collections of team members and projects, and require a subscription.
When adding team members to a team, there are three roles to choose from:
Viewer: A viewer can see all projects that belong to a team, but not edit or share any of them, nor can they view team crop templates, materials and fuel, or equipment and infrastructure. Right now, a team can have an unlimited number of team viewers for free.
Editor: An editor can view and edit all projects that belong to a team, as well as create new projects on a team, and create and edit team crop templates. Each editor requires a subscription set up through the team.
Admin: An admin has all of the same permissions as an editor, but can also add and remove other team members, and make changes to billing. Like an editor, each admin requires a subscription.
In “My Projects”, you can still create your own projects. However, the creation of a project without a team does require that you have an active subscription on at least one team that you belong to.
Within a project, team editors or admins, or project owners, have the ability to share a project with another user as a viewer or editor.
If you are a team admin you can now manage your billing information inside Overyield.
In the case where a team’s subscription is canceled, or where a team has more editors than paid subscriptions, you’ll still be able to view all the projects that you could access before. But, you’ll be unable to make updates to the projects or the team until the subscription is reinstated.
Team Crop Templates & Resources
You can now create your own templates that are usable across projects. This way if you have your own crop management protocol, you can create that and have those used in multiple projects.
You will also have your own database of materials, inputs, equipment, and infrastructure. This way you can fully customize your project experience with you own data.
All teams will still have access to our public templates that are available for all users. If you’d like to publish a public template, please reach out to our sales team - sales@propagateag.com.
Let us know if you have any questions or run into any issues, and happy designing!
