We have an exciting new update to announce: Metric unit conversions are now live in Overyield!
Our Metric update expands unit options in the app, facilitating seamless conversions between Metric and Imperial units. This is great news for our international subscribers, who can now analyze their global projects on regionally-appropriate terms.
Users can now:
Set default units in their User Settings.
Toggle between project units via the Home menu
Note: Project units will reset to the user’s default after each session.
Convert Imperial units to Metric units: meters, row meters, liters, cubic meters, kilograms, and hectares.
Keep in mind: Unit conversions will only apply to built-in units (e.g. units for acreage, fuel, yield, etc.). Unit conversions will NOT apply to customizable/user-provided units (e.g. units for inputs specified in crop templates, such as wood chip or root dip volume).
