Drawing Sections
All sections types can be drawn by clicking
New sectionin your Design Toolbar.Simply select the section type you would like to draw (
Grid,LineorKeyline) in the dropdown menu.
Before drawing any section, make sure the
Drawbutton is highlighted in your toolbar.
Drawing Lines
With the
Drawbutton highlighted, drop points on the map to plot out your line.Lines can be straight or irregularly shaped.
Press
Enteron your keyboard to finalize your line.To edit your line, click
Editin the toolbar, then click and drag the line’s anchor points (highlighted in white) to your liking. You can add more points by clicking the unhighlighted points between each anchor.
Under
Geometryin the Design Panel, adjust therow countandbetween-row/in-rowspacing to manually adjust your row and tree positioning.Alternatively, you can auto-generate row spacing by selecting a crop template under the
Cropsheading.
In the Design Toolbar, use:
the
Fliptool to rotate the section 180 degrees along the initial line axisthe
Deletebutton to delete your sectionor
↺and↻to undo/redo an action.
💠 Drawing Grids
With
Drawhighlighted, drop pins on your map to create a polygon, which will form the perimeter of your grid.Press
Enteron your keyboard to close your polygon.The field will auto-populate with rows and in-row points, which represent trees.
To edit your grid, use the following tools in your Design Toolbar:
Rotateyour rowsSelect
Rotateand hold down on the map as you move your cursor in a circular motion. Your row orientation will rotate accordingly.
Offsetyour rows (i.e. move them up, down, left, and right within the grid)Select
Offsetthen move your arrow keys in the direction you would like to move your rows.
EditSelect
Edit, then Click and drag your grid perimeter’s anchor points across the map.
↺or↻will undo and redo actionsDeletewill erase your grid permanently.
In the Design Panel, further adjust your grid’s specifications:
Under
Geometry, manually adjust yourin-rowandbetween-rowspacing.Alternatively, selecting a crop template under the
Cropsheading will automatically assign default spacing to your grid.
🏔️ Drawing Keylines (beta)
With
Drawplus the polygon icon highlighted in the toolbar, drop pins on your map to create a polygon. This will form the perimeter of your keyline section.Press
Enteron your keyboard to close your polygon.Next, with
Drawplus the line icon highlighted in the toolbar, draw your keyline by clicking the map to drop pins within the polygon.Your keyline can be irregularly shaped to follow the contour of your map.
Press
Enterto finalize your keyline.Note: As the tool is still in Beta, you may need to soften your line to prevent your keylines from doubling back on themselves.
In your toolbar, the following can help you perfect your keylines:
EditSelect
Edit, plus either the line or polygon button, then click and drag either your polygon or keyline’s anchor points across the map.

Editing Sections
Design & Inspect Panels
The righthand panel features two toggles— Design and Inspect:
🎨 The Design Panel enables you to manually change your section specifications, including:
Geometry:
in-rowandbetween rowspacingdegree rotationnumber of lines
Crops:
You can assign a
primary crop templateto the entire section via the dropdown menu, automatically assigning default in-row and between-row spacing to the entire section.
Economics:
Selecting a
start yearenables you to stagger your plantings (and thus your economic projections).
🕵️♀️ The Inspect Panel provides you with data about your section, including acreage, row ft, plant quantities, and row count data for the entire section, as well as a crop-by-crop breakdown of the aforementioned data.
Renaming Sections
To change the name of a section, double click the field in the Fields Panel. Then, fill in the appropriate name and press Enter.
