Overview
A Budget vs Actual report is essential in assessing financial performance properties, identifying any deviations from the planned budget, and understanding the reasons behind these discrepancies.
The Steps
To view the budget vs actual report, log into your DoorLoop owner portal and click the Reports tab.
Scroll down to the Accounting section and click Budget vs Actual.
On the Budget vs Actual report, under the Budget Settings, select the Property you want to run the report for and then select the Budget you want to run the report against. Click Run Report to generate the budget vs actual report.
Once your Budget vs Actual report is generated, you'll have the option to download the report in Excel format, print the report, or save it as a PDF.
If you need to generate a new report, you can use the Budget Settings and Report Settings to set new parameters. This includes changing the Accounting Method. When you're done, click Run Report again and a new budget vs actual report will be generated.
