How to Follow Up:
Using Ownwell’s "Export" feature, you can easily identify clients who haven’t opened their digest:
Click "Export" for a given month.
You’ll receive a CSV file containing:
Clients who were sent the digest that month.
Their email addresses.
The status of the email (e.g., delivered, opened).
Once you have the list, use a mail merge tool or your CRM to send a follow-up email to clients who haven’t yet opened their Ownwell digest. You can use the template provided below to make this process quick and seamless.
You can also see the status of the email a specific client received by looking at the "Email History" section in the "Digest Preview" tab.

Monthly Reminders
Success Tip: Keep Clients Engaged with Monthly Reminders
In addition to personal follow-ups, we encourage you to remind clients to watch for their Ownwell report each month. After the initial report is sent, clients will automatically receive a new report during the second week of every month.
A simple reminder can boost engagement. For example, you might say:
"Don't forget to check out your March Ownwell report - it’s coming out next week! I'd love to hear your thoughts, so feel free to email me with any comments or questions."
Consistent reminders help keep clients engaged by helping ensure they don't miss the Ownwell report while positioning you as their go-to advisor.

By now, your first Ownwell report should have arrived. If you haven’t seen it yet, it may have landed in your "Promotions" or "Spam" folder. To ensure you don’t miss future reports, please add hello@ownwell.ca to your contacts or safe senders list. Here’s how:
Gmail: Add us to Contacts. If our email is in Promotions, drag it to Primary and confirm.
Outlook.com/Hotmail: Go to Settings > View all Outlook settings > Mail > Junk email > Add hello@ownwell.ca under Safe senders and domains.
Yahoo Mail: Add us to your contacts from an opened email.
Apple Mail (iCloud): Open our email, tap the sender's address, then "Add to VIP".
Microsoft Outlook (Desktop App): Right-click our email > Junk > Never Block Sender.
