What to Do if a Home Price Estimate is Missing

Our home price estimates cover 99% of neighbourhoods across Canada, and coverage continues to grow. However, you may occasionally encounter a missing estimate, which we understand can be frustrating.

This can happen for a few reasons:

  • Incomplete or incorrect address details (e.g., missing unit number for a condo, or incorrect postal code from Google autocomplete)

  • Missing or incorrect property type

  • The neighbourhood is not yet covered by our data provider

Here’s how to troubleshoot:

Step 1: Verify the Address

To ensure the address is correct, use Canada Post’s address lookup tool:

Once you’ve confirmed the correct address:

  1. Go to the Client Details tab.

  2. Click "Edit" on the Home Details form to update the address information.

Step 2: Check the Property Type

A missing or incorrect property type (e.g., detached, condo apartment, etc.) can also cause a price estimate to be unavailable. You can update this field by:

  1. Clicking "Edit" on the Home Details form in the Client Details tab.

Note: we don’t support mobile homes or bare land at this time.

If the Estimate Is Still Missing

If the address and property type are correct, it likely means that the neighbourhood is not yet covered by our data provider. Coverage is expanding regularly, so a price estimate may become available in the next few months.

Important: You cannot enroll a client in a homeownership report unless there is a valid home price estimate, as all other estimates in the report depend on that value.
