*Note: The Oculus Rift S does not use the Oculus Remote. If you are using a Rift S device you will not need to pair a remote.*

Open the Oculus App

Find the Devices menu on the side bar on the left

Select Devices

Check that your remote is not already listed under the Oculus Rift and Touch menu

Select "Remote" (if your remote does not appear, select "Pair Device")

Following the instructions on screen, hold down the Oculus and Select buttons on your remote

A message will appear on screen to confirm that pairing is complete

You’re remote is now ready to use - enjoy!
