Wider feels premium but covers more page. ~440–500px is typical and works well on most screens.

Internal breathing room. Increase carefully — too much padding pushes the checkout button below the fold on mobile.

Match your theme's button/input rounding for visual consistency. If your theme uses sharp corners, keep the cart sharp; if it uses rounded buttons, match the radius.

Mobile uses full screen width by default, so your width setting mostly affects desktop. Padding and border radius still apply on mobile.

Use the Cart Templates page for quick preset. Applying a template overwrites all design tokens — colors, padding, radius, fonts — at once. You can still tweak individual values afterward.
