Quick guide to setting up your first announcement.

1. Pick a type

  • Simple — one message. Only type with coupon code + free shipping.

  • Running Line — scrolling marquee text, up to 6 items.

  • Multiple Rotating — slides that cycle automatically, each with its own title/subheading/CTA.

2. Add your text

  • Title — required.

  • Subheading — optional (Simple & Rotating only, not Running Line).

3. Add a call-to-action

  • None — no clickable link.

  • Button — a button with its own text and link.

  • Entire bar clickable — whole bar links out.

Coupon Code and Free Shipping are separate on/off switches (Simple type only) — you can combine them with a Button CTA at the same time.

4. Coupon code (optional)

  • Turn on Enable coupon code, enter your code.

  • Use {{code}} in your title/subheading to show it automatically.

  • Doesn't show with the Spotlight template.

5. Free shipping bar (optional)

  • Turn on Enable free shipping, set your threshold (e.g. 50).

  • Use {{amount}} to show how much more a shopper needs to add.

  • Set a Success message for once they cross the threshold.

  • Text-based only — not a visual progress bar.

Key numbers

  • Running Line scroll speed: 1–50 (higher = slower), default 8.

  • Running Line gap: 0px+, default 30px.

  • Rotating display duration: 2–20 seconds total for the whole cycle, split across your slides (not per slide!), default 4s.
