Ingestion is the intake step that runs before any analysis. PA-AI parses your uploaded files and uses them to auto-populate a series of structured questions. You walk through each step, edit anything the AI got wrong, and submit for analysis at the end.
The 9 ingestion sub-steps
File Upload — upload your background files
Definition — frames the problem: human problem to solve, where the current experience falls short, timeline by stage, key team / RACI, planned go-to-market strategy
Competitive Landscape — market context, number of competitors, competitor types (direct, indirect, early-stage, legacy, failed/discontinued), regionality
Demographics — age range, gender identity, geography, and other target-audience attributes

Review — final confirmation page before submitting for analysis
How do I move between steps?
Click Save & Next Step in the bottom-right footer of each step. To go back, use Previous Step in the bottom-left.
Can I edit what the AI auto-populated?
Yes. Every parsed answer is editable — click into any text box and change it.
When is ingestion complete?
When you click Submit for Analysis on the Review step. An Ingestion Complete pop-up will then offer to start Module 1.
