The Success Potential Score (SPS) is a predictive score that estimates the likelihood of success for a given market opportunity. It's produced by the Advanced PA-SPS Calculator inside Module 2 (Opportunity Discovery).
What goes into the SPS
The PA-SPS Calculator includes five sub-engines:
SPS Calculation Engine — computes the raw score
Score Normalization — normalizes the score for comparability
Friction Zones Engine — surfaces areas of friction that lower the score
Confidence Interval Estimator — gives you a confidence range around the score
Visualization & Export — renders the score visually and exports the result
How it's used
The SPS lets you validate opportunities early — before deeper investment in Module 3 (Opportunity Development). High-SPS opportunities with tight confidence intervals are stronger candidates to develop further; low scores or wide intervals signal more research is needed.
