Traffic is great. But traffic without engagement? That’s just people scrolling past.
This is Module 2 of a three-part bootcamp on launching and monetizing your Paage.
Module 1: You got eyes on your Paage (if not, go back and do that first).
Module 2: Now, let’s turn those visitors into an audience that sticks around.
Module 3: Finally, we’ll turn that engaged audience into revenue.
1. Convert visitors into subscribers
Most visitors won’t buy from you the first time they land on your Paage. That’s fine but don’t lose them. If someone leaves without following or subscribing, you have no way to reach them again. That’s why you need to capture their email.
How to collect emails on Paage:
📩 Email signup – Add a sign-up form for your newsletter.
📝 Contact form – Let people fill out a form to contact you (and collect their email in the process).
🔒 Lock link – Make exclusive content accessible only after a visitor enters their email.
📂 File download – Offer a free resource (guide or template) in exchange for an email. Pro tip: Add a tip option for those who find it valuable.
[X]% of people who download a free resource are more likely to buy from you later.
Where to find your collected emails:
Every email you collect is automatically stored in the Audience tab on your Paage.
Here, you can:
See all your subscribers in one place
Track where they signed up from
Manually add contacts to keep all your audience data in one place
2. Use email to keep your audience engaged
Collecting emails is step one. Actually using them is step two.
Here’s what to do after someone subscribes:
💌 Send a welcome email.
Introduce yourself, share what they can expect, and direct them back to your Paage.
📆 Stay consistent.
Regular emails keep you top-of-mind. Weekly? Bi-weekly? Whatever works, just don’t go silent.
🎁 Make it worth their time.
Give value before you sell. Share behind-the-scenes updates, exclusive content, or subscriber-only discounts.
Pro tip: Use Substack or another email automation tool to schedule emails and stay in touch effortlessly.
3. Check your analytics to see what’s working (and do more of it)
More traffic is great, but are people actually engaging with your Paage?
The analytics helps you track what’s working, so you can optimize, test, and improve engagement.
What to check out:
📍 Where are your visitors coming from?
Check the Referrers section to see where people found your Paage. Instagram, Twitter, a direct link? Check out where your community is. This is where you should focus all your communication efforts.
👀 Which links are getting clicks?
Under the Links tab, see which links people are actually clicking. If an important link isn’t getting attention, try moving it to the top.
🌎 Where is your audience based?
The Locations tab shows where visitors are coming from. Got traffic from a country you weren’t expecting? Maybe it’s time to experiment: try content in another language or collab with a creator from that region.
🛒 Are visitors turning into customers?
If you’re selling something, the Store tab tracks views, add-to-carts, and sales.
If you see low views: Try adding a video commerce block to display your product in action on your main tab.
If you see lots of views but no purchases: Try clarifying your product description & adding more visuals. More on this in the 3rd module of this course.
